Ride Logs

You can add a ride log to any vehicle. Each ride log captures:

  • Date, title, and location
  • Conditions and free-text notes
  • Distance, duration, speed, and elevation
  • A GPS route displayed on a map
  1. Open a vehicle and tap Ride Logs
  2. Tap Import GPX
  3. Select a GPX file from your device

The app extracts ride metrics and a sampled GPS route (up to 500 coordinate pairs) from the file. The file itself is not stored on our servers.

You can record a ride in real time using your device’s GPS:

  1. Open a vehicle and tap Record
  2. Grant location permission when prompted
  3. Tap Start Recording when you’re ready to ride
  4. Tap Stop when you’re done, then save

Your GPS stream is processed on-device. Only the computed metrics and a sampled route are stored — the raw stream is never sent to our servers. Location is only accessed while the recording screen is active and you have tapped Start Recording.

Live recording is a beta feature. GPS accuracy depends on your device and signal conditions. Recorded figures should not be relied upon for safety-critical or legally consequential purposes.
